The test
How long does the test take?
The Quick test has 28 questions (two per area) and takes about five minutes. The Full test has 56 (four per area) and takes about ten. Both may add up to four follow-up questions for your hardest areas.
How should I answer?
Answer about what you actually did in the last three months, not what you wish you had done. In any question you can choose “This hasn’t happened to me” or “I’d rather not answer”; neither counts in the result.
Can I stop and continue later?
Yes. Every answer is saved at once. The Test tab offers to resume your unfinished test, or to discard it and start again. Only one unfinished test is kept at a time.
What are the follow-up questions?
After the last core question, your one or two hardest areas get two more questions each: when resisting is hardest, and which step would help most. They are not scored; they appear in your result and shape your practice plan.
Results
How is the result worked out?
Each area is scored from your difficulty, scenario and frequency answers; the reason you chose never counts. The score becomes one word: Easy, Medium, Hard or Very hard. The limits between the words are design choices, not a scientifically validated scale, and the app never shows numbers.
Do old results change when the app is updated?
No. A finished result keeps its words and texts exactly as they were, so your history stays comparable even after the content or the language changes.
How does Compare work?
Compare puts your latest result next to the previous one, area by area: easier now, the same, harder now, new, or not clear. It tells you when the two results used different test modes.
Practice
How do I start a practice plan?
From a result or the Practice tab, choose one or two areas (the hardest are suggested). Each day you get one small step per area. Tick it off when it’s done; the 30-day calendar shows your days without streaks or points.
Why don’t my reminders arrive?
Reminders are off by default; turn them on in the Practice tab or in Settings › Reminders. If iOS asked for permission and you said no, allow notifications for Mujahada in the iOS Settings app.
Privacy and data
Where is my data kept?
Only on your iPhone, inside the app. Mujahada has no account, no server and no network code. Like other apps, it is included in your iPhone’s own backup if you have that on, so your history comes back on a new iPhone.
How does the Face ID lock work?
Turn it on in Settings › Privacy. Mujahada locks when you leave it and hides its screen in the app switcher; your iPhone passcode works as a fallback. The app only learns whether you unlocked, never your face or fingerprint.
How do I delete everything?
Settings › Privacy › Delete all data removes every result, plan, ticked day and unfinished test, cancels reminders and shows the welcome screen again. Deleting the app does the same.
Can I use Mujahada in another language?
Yes. Settings › Language offers System, Arabic and English. The choice applies at once, without changing your iPhone settings.
Is the result a religious ruling?
No. Mujahada is for self-reflection only. It is not a fatwa or religious ruling, not a measure of faith and not a psychological diagnosis.
Something isn’t working. What should I do?
Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store (it needs iOS 17 or later), then close the app and open it again. If it still doesn’t work, email us with your device model, iOS version and what happened.
