MW Prayer Times Privacy Policy

What the app collects

MW Prayer Times does not collect, upload, share or sell any personal data. It has no accounts and does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos.

Location

If you allow it, the app reads your location while it is open, only to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction for where you are. The last location is saved on your iPhone so the widgets and Apple Watch can show the right times. You can choose a city by name instead and never share your location. The app does not track your location in the background.

When you search for a city, the name you type is sent to Apple Maps to find it, under Apple’s privacy policy. We don’t receive it.

Settings, widgets and Apple Watch

Your settings (language, style, calculation method, notification choices) and the last location are stored on your iPhone and shared only with this app’s own widgets and its Apple Watch app. They reach your watch through Apple’s secure connection between your own devices. They are removed when you delete the app.

Notifications

Azan and reminder notifications are scheduled on your iPhone by the app itself. No notification server is involved.

No tracking, ads or analytics

MW Prayer Times is free and has no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics and no crash-reporting services. It does not track you across apps or websites.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

If you write to us, we use your message and email address only to reply. We don’t add you to mailing lists.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page.
