MW Player TV Privacy Policy

MW Player TV collects no data. Everything it keeps stays on your Apple TV, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
Your files
MW Player TV reads the files on the shares you add, directly from your computer or NAS over your local network, and plays or shows them on your Apple TV. It only reads: it never changes, adds, moves or deletes anything on a share. Your files are never uploaded or sent to us or to anyone else.
Shares and passwords
The shares you add (server name or address, share name and user name) are stored on your Apple TV. Passwords are stored only in the Apple TV’s Keychain, are not included in backups, and are never shown again or sent anywhere except to your own server when you sign in. Removing a share removes its password.
Recents, positions and settings
Recents, the place where you stopped in each file, folder views and copies of PDFs being read are stored on your Apple TV only. They are removed when you delete the app; Recents and saved PDFs can also be cleared in Settings.
Local network
MW Player TV uses your local network only to find computers that share files (Bonjour) and to read from the shares you open. It does not connect to Mount Wolf or to any other internet service.
No tracking, ads or analytics
MW Player TV has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash-reporting services and no third-party code that collects data. It doesn’t track you across apps or websites.

If you write to us, we use your message and email address only to reply. We don’t add you to mailing lists.
Children
MW Player TV collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page.
